THE COMPANY AND ITS PRODUCTION

SILGA S.p.A., Italian for Società Italiana Lavorazioni Galvaniche, dealing in galvanic processing, commenced its activities in 1969 in the sector from which it took its name and soon also added the production of printed circuit boards.
It developed fast over the years investing in increasingly automated production lines and in new production units, guaranteeing high quality of its products, high production capacity and a vast range of treatments which allowed it to take on an international connotation. It extends over a surface area of 70,000 m2 of which 30,000 covered, with 11 different production units, and counts 260 employees.

Silga S.p.A. is in continuous development and has always paid particular attention to both the environment and safety in the workplace. The Management Company intends to continue its course of action taken historically ensuring the balance between corporate purposes and safeguarding the environment.
Silga S.p.A. is equipped with four purification plants: two chemical-physical, one recycling ionic exchange and one biological experimentation.

The activities of the company are diversified as follows:

Printed Circuit Board Division: ISO TS 16949 certified

In that department Silga produces single side rigid PCB’s, double side PCB’s with through plated holes and multilayers; flexible single side PCB’s and double side with plated through holes with solder mask or coverlay; aluminium or copper based PCB’s for IMS technology.

The daily production capacity reachs 1500 m² for single side PCB’s, flexible and IMS technology and 600 m² for double side plated through holes and multilayer PCB’s.

Surface treatment division of zinc, zinc alloys and post-treatments ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified
Anodic treatment division and chromate treatment of aluminium
