Chromating

The chromating treatment is a chemical process based on hexavalent chromium (Cr +6), which allows to obtain a very thin layer of passivation (about 0.5 microns) on the surface of an object in aluminum or its alloys, which guarantee a high protection to corrosion and ensures adherence between the metal and subsequent organic layers such as paints and lacquers.
