Dehydrogenation

The dehydrogenation is a thermal process which consists in removing the hydrogen absorbed by an object during the chemical and electrolytic processes, performed in specific oven at temperature of 180 – 200 ° C, minimum time 2 hours.

The operation is fundamental for steel items which have to resist at tensile strength greater than 100/Nmm, in order to avoid rupture of the detail.
